Reynolds Design

Sailing since the age of eight, Randy Reynolds has been designing sails and sailboats since 1974. He has designed sails for performance dinghies, mono and multi-hulls, windsurfers and even hydro-foil sailboats such as the Hobie Tri-foiler.

His boat design credits vary from performance sailboards, sailboats and multihulls ranging from eight to forty four feet. In 2002 Reynolds created the R33 catamaran winning Sailing Worlds ‘Boat of the Year’ in 2006. In 2008, Reynolds co-founded XSsailing.com and in 2009 co-founded The Border Run, the biggest point to point ocean race in Southern California.

For 2012 Reynolds has created two new designs. The XS-35, an evolution of the R33 catamaran and his latest creation, the XS-45. We invite you to closely examine both new designs and feel confident that they will excite and inspire even the most discriminating sailor.
